While all those things are present in the mostly lighthearted title, Final Fantasy IX, this game seems to have a much darker feel to it, assuming the trailer is a good indication of what we can expect.

Crystals, summons, chocobos, militaries, and, I think, kingdoms. The trailer depicts some familiar Final Fantasy elements. What might help mitigate the cost of the system is the fact that the console will support a majority of PlayStation 4 games. Still better than the early versions of the PS3, though. They’re not cheap consoles by any means, with the PlayStation 5 being priced at about 100 dollars more than the original price point for the PS4. As a point of comparison, the Series X will go for $499 as well, but its digital version will only cost $299. The PlayStation 5 will be available for $499, while the Digital Edition will be available for $399.
